Beloved artist Kid Cudi excited fans by announcing a world tour earlier today. Shortly after he revealed he would headline the upcoming Governors Ball Music Festival,

Kid Cudi shared the exciting news on Twitter. He suggested that the tour will be quite the event, and he also stated that it would specifically be in celebration of his latest album: 2020s Man on the Moon III: The Chosen.

"There will be a tour this year. Been plannin since last year. Justtttt wait," he wrote.

This news comes on the heels of Kid Cudi hyping up his upcoming Netflix series and accompanying album, both titled Entergalactic, on Twitter. The "Day N Nite" rapper referred to the entire project as "the greatest piece of art [he's] ever made."

Kid Cudi initially announced the project back in 2019, though it was ultimately pushed back to 2022. However, he shared that the extra time only allowed him to perfect the highly anticipated Netflix series—which is notably being produced by Kenya Barris, the creator of Black-ish.

He went on to confirm that the album and Netflix series will both drop on the same day, though he nonetheless recommended for fans to check out the show before listening to the compilation.

Kid Cudi also gushed about his favorite part of creating the Entergalactic series: getting to do voice acting.

This isn't the first time Kid Cudi has opened up about the upcoming project. Back in 2019, he shared that the album was "something different."

"A lot of the songs aren’t really from the Scott perspective; they’re from the perspective of the character," he stated. “It’s a new, fun, and exciting way to write music. I have eight albums. I needed to do something different."

It's unclear when exactly the project—which Netflix describes as "quirky" and "romantic"—will drop, though it's expected to come sometime this year. In the meantime, fans can gear up for Kid Cudi's world tour and check out some candid Instagram photos from his various Entergalactic parties.
