LeBron James is used to leading the pack on the basketball court, but he played second fiddle to his baby girl for her YouTube channel.

James joined his daughter Zhuri in the kitchen to show the world how to make peanut butter power balls for her YouTube channel “All Things Zhuri.”

“My name is Zhuri and I brought my friend daddy, so he can help me make these balls today,” the 5-year-old said in the video.

It was on when Bron walked onscreen. The pair had bowls full of ingredients displayed on the counter and walked viewers through the whole process. Like any good parent, James let his only daughter take the lead. He was just there for moral support and to act as a human mixing bowl.

“You do whatever you want. It’s your world, Squirrel,” he told her.

We already knew the Laker was a great father, but this video is proof he is also a highly involved father. He gently guided Zhuri through the recipe and helped keep her on track. James also sang several songs including remixes to “Row Row Row Your Boat” and Future’s “Same Damn Time.” Judging by Zhuri’s giggles, she enjoyed spending quality time with her daddy.

As of press time, the video has over 360K views and 26K likes. She also has an impressive Instagram following with more than 200K followers.

Her channel boasts 77.3K subscribers, and the first video was posted on New Year's Day.

“I’m excited to share my world with you,” she said in her first video. “My mom and dad are so cool. You might know them.”

James announced his daughter’s YouTube channel on Christmas via Twitter.

“She needs no introduction to the world but I’m excited for you all to meet my Princess Zhuri Nova through her eyes All Things Zhuri coming soon,” he tweeted. “Subscribe!!! #JamesGang.”


Zhuri is the youngest of the James clan. Bron also has two sons, Lebron Jr. and Bryce. James’ journey through parenthood has made him empathetic to his mom’s experiences. He recently apologized to his mom Gloria for being embarrassed by her behavior earlier in his career, as Blavity previously reported.

“I had to apologize to my mom because when I was growing up playing AAU ball, my mom used to be one of the loudest people in the stands,” James told ESPN. “I’m talking about going crazy at my opponents, going crazy at the referees, going crazy at my own coach and teammates.”

LeBron Jr., affectionately known as Bronny, is becoming a basketball star, and his dad finally gets why his grandma went so hard.

“I used to be like, ‘Mom, you’ve got to sit down. What are you doing mom? You’re embarrassing me,’” he continued. “So, I’ve told her to her face, ‘I apologize.’ I know exactly how it feels to be a parent watching your kid play. So, yeah, I’ve apologized.”
