In late 2020, Lori Harvey—Steve and Marjorie Harvey's 25-year-old daughter—began dating Black Panther actor Michael B. Jordan. They ultimately went Instagram official in January 2021, confirming their romance to the world.

Since then, the pair's relationship has made headlines in a variety of different ways, including their silly nicknames for each other (i.e., "Turtle" and "Nugget") and continual expressions of love online.

However, during and before her relationship with Jordan, Lori continually made headlines over her dating history. People were split between shaming her and defending her right to explore options.

Rather than looking at Lori's history as baggage, we should collectively shift to viewing it as her journey to true love and happiness with Jordan. We all have our past, and things can always change in a relationship—but that doesn't mean we're not worthy or capable of attaining a solid partnership.

In the words of Ariana Grande, let's all say "thank u, next" as we look back on what led Lori to Jordan.

Memphis Depay

Taking it way back to Lori's late teens, she was formerly connected to Dutch soccer player Memphis Depay beginning in 2016, and he wound up proposing to her the following year.

Steve Harvey gushed about the news on Twitter back when Depay proposed that Lori ultimately stopped wearing her engagement ring in 2018, suggesting they ended their relationship.

Despite the breakup, it seems like things are still good between Steve and Depay, as they were spotted hanging out together back in late 2019.

Justin Combs

Rumor has it that Lori began seeing Justin Combs—Sean "Diddy" Combs' 28-year-old son—shortly after ending things with Depay.

Whatever the case, they didn't appear to be anything serious, and little is known about the specifics behind their supposed relationship.

Trey Songz

Lori enjoyed a short-lived fling with the infamous Trey Songz from late 2018 to early 2019. There has been differing speculation as to why they broke up, with the leading theory being Trey Songz's presumed infidelity.

Whatever the case, Trey Songz was merely a step in Lori's path to happiness, though she still had a couple of more to go.

Diddy

Yes, that's right: Lori was linked to Diddy after her alleged romance with his son—and the internet went crazy. Like Justin's case, Lori's relationship with Diddy was unconfirmed—though they did both go on vacation with Steve Harvey, suggesting that something could have been going on.

Additionally, Lori was spotted partying it up with Diddy and his kids, including Justin, in early 2019, making many internet users "uncomfortable."

Future

Future is Lori's most notorious ex-boyfriend, and they first sparked dating speculation in late 2019. They enjoyed a whirlwind romance that lasted until August 2020, when they decided to part ways.

Memorably, Future has thrown shade at her on numerous occasions since their breakup, even dissing her and Michael B. Jordan in his verse on 42 Dugg's "Maybach."

However, despite her rocky breakup with Future (and brief rumors that she was rebounding with Abou "Bu" Thiam), she soon found a solid beau in the form of Jordan.

Michael B. Jordan

Lori and Jordan started dating in November 2020, and they've been a solid item ever since.

From heartwarming IG uploads to candid interviews on their relationship, this couple is all about showering each other in love and showing off their bond.

"I have tried not to like him. I have tried to find something wrong with him that I could dig in and go… 'cause I done got rid of all of [her ex-boyfriends]. All of them. Some of them snuck in the back door on me and lasted a lot longer than I wanted it to. But this guy, is such a good guy," Steve said of Jordan, as Blavity previously reported. "He is one of the nicest guys. I've met his father. I've sat up with him; we've talked for hours. I just can't find nothing wrong with him."

Let's let Lori Harvey's journey serve as a reminder that it's never too late for true love to come our way, no matter who your exes are.
