Magnolia Pictures released Academy Award-winner Kevin Macdonald's Bob Marley documentary Marley, on Friday, April 20th, launching day and date on all VOD and digital platforms – including Facebook.

It was later released on DVD and on Blu-ray, on August 7, 2012.

But if you haven't seen it on any of those platforms (or you have, but want to see it again), you should know that the acclaimed doc, described as the definitive documentary about legendary musician, from his earliest days, to his rise to international superstardom, is now streaming on Netflix (as of September 6), so if you have a Netflix account, you could be watching it within seconds. 

The film made its world premiere at the Berlinale, as one of five films selected for the Berlinale Special, to critical acclaim.

Marley is executive produced by Bob Marley's son Ziggy Marley and Island Records founder Chris Blackwell.

Made with the unprecedented support of the Marley family, the film features rare footage, archival photos, and incredible performances and interviews with his family, friends, and bandmates – the people that knew him best.

"This documentary is the ultimate revelation of my father’s life… The family is proud to be able to have the world finally experience this emotional journey," said Ziggy Marley in a statement.
