As it pertains to music, words like "timeless," "profound," and "epic" should be reserved for those rare moments in history when an artist drops something that is so innovative and so profound that it breaks down all musical barriers and forever reconfigures the cultural landscape. Michael Jackson's Thriller stands at the helm of this elite class.
