Everyone sees the output, not the input. The nights up late mulling your dreams over. The errant shouts from family members hungry to give you good kadvice. The opportunities that spill out onto your floor like dropped legos. No one sees those because that's the price you pay. The admission fee is the worry and the empty bank account. It's the people who tell you that you can't do it, too. Though I don't think anyone was telling experimental indie duo LIMBS that they should be doing something else. How could they? Music this good needs to be shared.

Kevin Abdella and Kim Mayo spent most of their time on opposite coasts. The Ethopian-American producer, Kevin, is natively from LA, but moved to Brooklyn to create with the lithe-voiced Kim Mayo. The group tells OkayAfrica the move "feels special and is bringing new energy to our process." It shows with this nu-wave rendition of Frank Ocean's Blonde standout.

The reworking releases the song of some of its tension, as though time were slowly churning within it. The group said something similar to OkayAfrica.

“We hope that this song gives listeners the same sense of comfort and release from the pain of this election and uncertainty about the future."

They've got more, too. You can stream their Don't Stay EP out now on SoundCloud. Peep the song and the link down below and let us know if you're checking for them.

You can stream the whole EP here, as well.
