Filmed in more than twenty states, Eugene Jarecki's The House I Live In, tells the stories of individuals at all levels of America’s so-called "War on Drugs."

From the dealer, to the narcotics officer, the inmate, to the federal judge, the film offers a penetrating look inside America’s criminal justice system, revealing the profound human rights implications of U.S. drug policy.

It sounds almost like Traffic the documentary version.

The feature doc (4 years in the making) premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year, where it reportedly caused quite a stir, polarizing audiences, en route to winnng the Grand Jury Prize in its category, and continues to play the international film festival circuit.

It will debut on PBS' Independent Lens series next season, but no specific dates yet.

No trailer for it yet, which I'm perplexed by, given how long it's been out. Unless I just missed one in my search.
