As his battery case plunged, rapper Slim Jxmmi, born Aaquil Iben Shamon Brown, now has one less trouble to worry about.

According to TMZ, legal documents say Slim Jxmmi's misdemeanor charge was dropped after the alleged victim recanted her allegations.

Florida prosecutors note Slim's girlfriend retracted her statement, saying he never put a hand on her. As a result, they do not have a good faith basis for filing battery charges against the rapper. They also reported that his girlfriend recanted her battery claim, stating it was false.

At Tuesday's hearing, prosecutors said they could not file the charges because they lacked sufficient evidence, according to Jxmmi's attorney Bradley.

"Jxmmi should have never been arrested," Horenstein shared with Billboard. "Prosecutors refused to even file charges. That should speak volumes about Jxmmi's innocence."

Slim Jxmmi was arrested last month in Miami-Dade County after his girlfriend called the cops accusing him of allegedly ripping hair extensions from her scalp.
