Not a surprise.
Producer Will Packer did state earlier this year before the movie was released that Screen Gems would back a sequel to Think Like A Man if the first one did well.
And it did well, grossing over $91 million on a $12 million budget. A no-brainer if there ever was one.
Lots of questions to be answered here, like: will the entire cast return? What will the story (or stories) follow? Will Tim Story return to direct?
We know that Will Packer will return to produce via his Rainforest Films shingle, with partner Rob Hardy, and Steve Harvey (who wrote the book the first film was based on) returning to executive produce.
Writers Keith Merryman and David A. Newman who wrote the first one will do the same for the sequel.
No date as to when production will begin, nor when it can be expected to be released.
Stay tuned…
