, helmed by Queens, NY filmmaker A.V. Rockwell, was screened as part of the Black, Brown & Digital event last evening at MIST Harlem. I had the pleasure of meeting the lovely Rockwell – a young female by the way – at the event, in which she was participated as part of the panel along with other web content creators.

Kids, about two East New York siblings that “find a new game to play – mimicking the family business”, is part of Open City Mixtape site, which features more of A.V. Rockwell’s work including short documentaries and music videos. Rockwell has done videography work for clients such as Atlantic Records, Island/Def Jam, Black Entertainment Television.
