Announced in January, SnagFilms (parent company of indieWIRE) acquired exclusive digital rights to Alrick Brown's Rwandan genocide drama Kinyarwanda, AFFRM's sophomore theatical release (how many of you actually saw it?).

I learned today that the 2011 Sundance Film Festival is now on VOD (it was as of April 1) via Comcast Xfinity, and Verizon FiOS. So if you're one of the many who haven't seen the film, and you're a customer of either provider, you may want to give it a look now.

As a recap, the films' official synopsis:

A young Tutsi woman and a young Hutu man fall in love amidst chaos, a soldier struggles with being absent from her family to foster a greater good, and a priest grapples with his faith in the face of unspeakable horror.

I should note that this Saturday, April 7th, will mark the beginning of the 18th annual 100 days of commemoration of the genocide.
