Here’s yet another clip from Steve McQueen’s 12 Years A Slave, which opens in limited release this Friday, after a much-celebrated, albeit brief trip through the film festival circuit.
In this new short clip, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Solomon Northup is confronted by Sarah Paulson’s stone-cold Mistress Epps, as she reminds him of who (or maybe I should say, what) he is.
Fox Searchlight will open 12 Years A Slave theatrically on October 18, in a limited roll-out and will then expand nationwide in successive weeks.
The drama boasts an impressive cast of actors, including: Chiwetel Ejiofor (as Solomon Northup), Michael Fassbender, Lupita Nyong’o, Paul Dano, Benedict Cumberbatch, Ruth Negga, Adepero Oduye, Alfre Woodard, Scoot McNairy, Garret Dillahunt, Brad Pitt, Michael K. Williams, Paul Giamatti, Sarah Paulson and others.
