Here’s yet another clip from Steve McQueen’s 12 Years A Slave, which opens in limited release this Friday, after a much-celebrated, albeit brief trip through the film festival circuit.
In this new short clip, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Solomon Northup is confronted by Sarah Paulson’s stone-cold Mistress Epps, as she reminds him of who (or maybe I should say, what) he is.

Fox Searchlight will open 12 Years A Slave theatrically on October 18, in a limited roll-out and will then expand nationwide in successive weeks.

The drama boasts an impressive cast of actors, including: Chiwetel Ejiofor (as Solomon Northup), Michael FassbenderLupita Nyong’oPaul DanoBenedict CumberbatchRuth Negga, Adepero OduyeAlfre WoodardScoot McNairyGarret DillahuntBrad PittMichael K. WilliamsPaul GiamattiSarah Paulson and others.
