Report: T.J. Holmes And Amy Robach Hire Lawyers, Plan To Take Action Against ABC If Needed

As Blavity previously reported, reports indicated the ABC anchors embarked on a secret relationship in 2022 around the time they were training for the New York City Half Marathon. Intimate photos published online showed the pair holding hands in a car and cuddling in a bar.

According to sources who spoke with TMZ, the pair are now frustrated because ABC hasn’t explained why the network took them off the air a month ago.

Sources said Robach had hired Andrew Brettler, a prominent Los Angeles lawyer, while Holmes hired Eric George, another attorney who has handled several celebrity cases. TMZ reports the lawyers are ready to file a complaint if ABC keeps the pair off the air or fires them.

The source adds that race could play a factor in the case of Holmes, who is Black, and Robach, who is white.

They told TMZ, “Has ABC ever used the morals or conduct clause to fire or discipline two consenting adults at equal levels when both were white?”
