With every failure comes a lesson, and T-Pain is ready to admit he took a major L.

On Tuesday, the famed rapper and producer announced the cancellation of his upcoming “1UP DLC Tour” due to lackluster ticket sales. However, he’s not running from the criticism, CNN Entertainment reported

“Some things got cut, some corners got cut, production went missing, and you know, I wasn't as hands-on with the planning and things as I should've been because I've been busy as hell,” he said in his Instagram video.

The Tallahassee artist added he misjudged the hype around the tour. Rejecting the advice he received from his team, T-Pain gave his followers the real reason behind him pulling the tour.

“Most artists lie,” he revealed. “Whenever concerts get canceled or tour get canceled, it’s for low ticket sales. It ain’t really about whatever the f***ing reason they say.”

He also added a positive spin on the matter by saying, “You can't hold on to a mistake just ‘cause you spent a long time making it.”

After T-Pain shared the news on Instagram, fans shared their support for his honesty.

Other fans blame his marketing team.

And some Twitter folks think he should go on tour, anyways.

The tour was reportedly set to kick off in Philadelphia. T-Pain, who reigned supreme during The Masked Singer last season, announced in April he was taking a break from music to avoid permanent vocal damage.

Even though he's called off his tour, we can't wait to see what's in store for T-Pain in the future.
