The AdAge released its annual Creativity 50 list. It's a survey of the year's most influential creative figures and a testament to how turbulent times can be a powerful muse.
Terry Crews definitely had a turbulent year as he came forward about sexual assault. He has been strong and courageous in speaking out, so it's no surprise that he made the Creativity 50 list. What may surprise people, however, is that he actually illustrated the cover.

It may shock people to know that Crews actually has a fine arts degree. Turns out Crews is just a well-rounded talent.

One of my favorite things about the @adage Creativity 50 issue? The cover was illustrated by none other than @terrycrews himself. pic.twitter.com/N2UA1jNxIx

In the article, Crews is described as the possible vaccine to the toxic masculinity virus for his willingness to insert himself into the #MeToo conversation. Many men are scared to share their truth, and Crews is changing the standard about men coming forward.
Other notable black people to make the Creativity 50 list were Jordan Peele, Kehinde Wiley, Diarra Kilpatrick, Pat McGrath, Rihanna, Edward Enninful, Ukonwa Ojo, Tuma Basa, Donald Glover and Cardi B.
