The impact of hip-hop culture is dominant worldwide. As a testament to this fact, nuzzled in the capital city of Sydney, Australia is a hip-hop themed bar called The Carter. The venue, which opened in early March, is named in homage to music’s reigning power-couple.

In an interview with The Music, venue manager Chady Khouzame revealed, "The Carter was inspired by New York's great architecture, food and controversial entertainment." He went on to explain that Jay Z and Beyoncé's life in the spotlight "inspired our hidden messages in artwork surrounding the bar and the murals on the wall in the basement."

The restaurant features artwork inspired by Jay Z and Kanye West's Watch The Throne and Jay Z's Magna Carta Holy Grail album art. When it comes to the menu, patrons of The Carter can order chicken wings drenched in Bey’s Hot Sauce, Kanye BBQ corn cob, the Biggie 1kg T-bone steak, Snoop’s foot long hot dog and Nas sticky lamb ribs. As for libations, guests can sip on the Crooked Hillary, the Kimye cocktail, the Pablo, or the Obama Out.
