The Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia dominated the national news and social media over the weekend as thousands of white nationalists, white supremacists, Confederate supporters and neo-Nazis ascended on the city.

As photos from the event landed online, Twitter user @YesYoureRacist has made it a priority to identify and expose the white nationalists bold enough to bear torches this past Friday and participate in the rally on Saturday.

So far, the account owner's work and the help of its followers have produced stunning results. One of the attendees, identified as Cole White, has been fired due to his public display of racism because of @YesYoureRacist.

On Twitter, the account and its followers pointed out that most of the people identified are young—very young like James Alex Fields, who is 20. Many of the people in attendance are in college and out of state.

Probably the most important person identified over the weekend was Peter Cvjetanovic. Photos of Cvjetanovic went viral making him the unofficial face of white rage.

As backlash and infamy mounted, he told media that the photo doesn't represent him. “I did not expect the photo to be shared as much as it was," he told  Channel 2 News. "I understand the photo has a very negative connotation. But I hope that the people sharing the photo are willing to listen that I’m not the angry racist they see in that photo.”

Despite receiving threats from trolls, the account will continue the good fight. Consider donating to the account's patreon to support.
