Despite the unique circumstances that have been created as a result of the pandemic, celebrities still showed off their best costumes for this year's Halloween celebration.
This year's standouts included Lizzo, Lil Nas X, Ciara, Cardi B and The Weeknd. Some of this year's participants paid tribute to each other with their costumes while others showed off their fandom for Hollywood classics.

Lizzo showed up for the holiday with a tribute to Cardi B's 2020 hit song, "WAP." Taking the title of the song quite literally, the 32-year-old artist wore a catsuit with waves on it. She posted a video in her outfit to show off her famous dance skills.
"Now THATS some wet ass pussy," the singer wrote on Instagram.
Wearing her costume with cat ears and a long tail, Lizzo took a dip in the swimming pool and captivated her fans.
"Somebody let Lizzo know I need that confidence," one person said.

"Omggg I loveeee this!!" Cardi B said in response to the costume.
The "WAP" rapper said she has always been a huge fan of Ciara and became an even bigger fan after meeting her.
"She is the most sweetest and the most nicest person in the world!" Cardi B wrote. "A true peach! Staying sweet and humble was the prayer!"

According to Billboard, Lil Nas X has been a fan of Minaj for many years. Earlier this year, he confessed his admiration for the singer. Responding to a question from a fan on Twitter, Lil Nas described himself as a barb, the term used to identify Minaj's fanbase.
"I didn't want people to know I was gay tbh," the Grammy-winning rapper said as he tried to explain why he denied his fandom for many years.
Cardi B showed up like a goddess
While. Cardi B paid homage to a mythological character from ancient times, her fit was still worth highlighting. The "Money" rapper stole the spotlight as usual with an elaborate Medusa costume. The outfit featured golden snakes on the singer's head, along with golden jewelry throughout her body. The lavish display included golden bracelets, a shiny belt around her waist and a set of elegant shields to barely cover her chest.
"One mooo …..MEDUSA," Cardi B wrote in the caption of her social media post.
The Weeknd shows his nerdy side
The Weeknd paid tribute to a classic movie with his outfit. Putting on his nerdy glasses and showing off a perfectly rounded afro, along with a bowtie, The "Blinding Lights" singer came out as Sherman Klump from The Nutty Professor. The artist also included prosthetics on his face and hands, along with the scientist's famous suit.
"Abel won Halloween this year, no questions," one fan wrote.
