Trick sat down with Mass Appeal and dropped the news Tuesday afternoon. "Yesterday, me and Trina signed a deal for a ‘Trick & Trina’ collabo album. So we bringing the city back," he said confidently. Over the 20 years that they've been together musically, they've dropped instant classics. I mean, who doesn't love "Shut Up" or "Nann Nigga?" There's no denying the powerful, sonic connection Trick Daddy and Trina have. So, this news is nothing but major to fans and to their city.

We can already hear the cheers coming from Miami.

Ted Lucas, the CEO of Slip N' Slide Records, also commented on the joint venture. “It's just something the fans always wanted, and now we’re officially going to make it happen. Trick put Miami on the map with gangsta music, which was different from all perspectives. When Miami was known for booty shaking, Trick was able to change the culture of what people thought about of Miami music, and Trina was able to put female rappers on the map. We’re excited about it, and looking forward to it.”

As of now, there's no scheduled release date. That won't stop rap fans from sitting on the edge of their seats, anxious to see what the Dade County representers drop. It's said it will be out before the year's end.
