Every once in a while, a celebrity does something to remind us that amid all the fame and glory, they're still regular, degular, schmegular people like the rest of us.
Zara Rahim, head of communications at The Wing, was having a long day on January 17. So, she decided to entertain her 10,000 Twitter followers with an enlightening story about how Grammy-winning singer Rihanna paid a visit to The Wing's New York office.
I had a very long day so as a form of Twitter therapy I wanted to share a story about @rihanna and the time we used a public restroom together.

Her story began: "Rihanna came to an event she was scheduled to speak at just over a year ago. She late. She was very late. (for the record: she can be late, she’s Rihanna, and she was wearing Margiela.)"
Upon arriving at The Wing's office, the "Rude Boy" singer desperately needed to use the bathroom. So, Rahim offered to escort her to the private bathroom upstairs. Much to the chagrin of the Fenty Beauty mogul, she instead decided to venture to the closest restroom, which just so happened to be public.
Extremely nervously and in a full internal spiral, I lead her to the women’s restroom, knowing there was going to be a lot of women in there because the attendees were waiting for her to close the day out and taking a break from sitting in the room idly until she started.

Sure enough, there was a plethora of Rihanna fans patiently waiting to use the lavatories. According to Rahim, it took the crowd a moment to register they were breathing the same air as the "Disturbia" crooner. Once they did, however, chaos ensued.
The women were so slow to realize what was happening — just from the pure shock. Once things registered, I swear to God I’ve never heard noises emitted from women’s bodies like that. Imagine something I can only describe as something between screaming, crying, joy, and confusion?

Rih patiently waited her turn to use the ladies room, while simultaneously engaging in small talk with members of her Navy. When a woman emerged from the stall Rihanna would eventually use, the Savage X Fenty designer exclaimed, "I hope you didn’t take a s**t girl!!!!!"
Rihanna, without skipping a beat, looking directly at this very shocked woman, in her extremely Rihanna way, says “I hope you didn’t take a shit girl!!!!!”

Once she finished using the stall, Rih Rih returned to Rahim, but not without more lotion on her hands than she bargained for. Lesson learned: When Rihanna tells you that you're ashy, then, sis, you're ashy.
The dispenser was malfunctioning because it realized it was in the presence of Rihanna. She had too much lotion on her hands.
She said “Give my your hands. You’re ashy sis!!!!”
She rubbed her beautiful, tattooed, perfectly manicured hands on on my hands.

It was a heartwarming anecdote about how relatable and humble Rihanna is. While fans wait on an album, they may have another release to look forward to this year. Per Harpers Bazaar, Rihanna is reportedly collaborating with LVMH Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy to develop her luxury fashion line.
