First, Lorraine Toussaint ("Orange is the New Black) has landed a series-regular role on ABC’s upcoming fall drama "Forever," playing a Lt. Joanna Reece, who’s described as a "weathered," 50-something police vet who’s "seen it all," and who’s also Alana de la Garza’s Det. Jo Martinez. "Forever" stars Ioan Gruffudd as a New York City medical examiner who studies the dead, because he is secretly immortal. "Forever" will air Tuesdays at 10/9c on ABC.
Second, the success of Maya Rudolph’s one-off variety show which aired in May, has made NBC consider bringing it back for another run, the network said over the weekend, at the Television Critics Association event in Los Angeles.

Third, Bill Cosby’s previously announced (in January) return to serial TV is still in play. It’s currently being written, with a summer 2015 debut eyed, said NBC reps, also at the Television Critics Association event in Los Angeles.

Fourth, some of Michael Jackson’s extended family members will star in a reality show this fall on Reelz, the network announced. "Living with the Jacksons" will be a 6-episode series that will follow Alejandra Jackson, the ex-wife of Michael’s brother Jermaine Jackson, and her 5 children. Alejandra has two children with Michael’s brother Randy Jackson, but later married Jermaine Jackson and had two more children. She’s also raised son Donte Jackson, who was adopted by Michael’s parents Katherine and Joe. "Living with the Jacksons" premieres Tuesday, Nov. 18 at 8/7c on Reelz. 

And finally, TV One today announced the return of its award-winning docu-series "Unsung," the network’s longest-running original series. Slated for premiere on Wednesday, July 30 at 8PM/ET, the 10 all-new episodes will feature profiles on prominent artists including Montell Jordan, Hi Five, The Emotions, Martha Wash, Troop, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Wilson Pickett, The Chi-Lites, Peaches & Herb and Rick James.
