In the fast-paced world of social media, it’s easy for iconic memes and reaction videos to fade into the rear-view mirror over time.

However, a Twitter thread has recently gone viral that’s imploring people to share humorous clips that are guaranteed to illicit a laugh or two, and it’s bringing out some nostalgic clips and a few hidden gems.

“Please quote tweet a video that never ceases to make you laugh… I need a good laugh right now,” the user wrote, thus opening up the Twitter flood gates.

The request instantly went viral, and there’s a good chance that a quote tweet or two popped onto your timeline if you use Twitter regularly.

Check out just a few of the thousands upon thousands of responses down below.

Understandably, this genre of tweet brought out a few clips taken from TV shows, including Joseline’s CabaretThe Boondocks, Flavor of Love and The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Some memeable classics will likely ring a bell in most viewers’ memories.

Memorable clips that originated on airplanes also came up.

A few videos centered around clowning children made it into the mix, too.

On the flip side, other clips showed some ruthless children telling it like it is.

Uploads involving celebrities like Stevie Wonder, Tupac and Michael Jackson were also acknowledged.

A couple of Spanish-language videos began widely circulating as well.

Humorous videos from all over the internet flooded in, providing laughs and good memories for many.

With the wave of responses to his tweet and with his “good laugh” presumably secured, the original poster issued a follow-up to share how grateful he was for the funnies.

“When I tell y’all I needed this laugh, I really needed it. I’m cackling at all these videos. Thank you everyone,” he wrote.

What do you think about this trend, and what videos would you have added to the mix? Let us know down in the comments.
