Seems like our faves just can't catch a break! Beyoncé and Serena Williams have been slaying it lately, Serena posing in an amazing Sports Illustrated thread and Bey basking in her maternal glow. With each of their respective moves, they're adding another notch in their #BlackGirlMagic belts. Unfortunately, some people haven't been too keen on their latest moves.
Publications have been going crazy with op-ed think pieces, condemning the women for basically being themselves and owning their womanhood unapologetically.
Two in particular have caught our ire recently. One basically told Beyoncé she wasn't special for being pregnant, and another tried to police Serena's body.

We as fans of the celebrated beauties were not here for it.
Me everytime I see an article that tries to come for Serena or Beyonce.

Knuckles were cracked and books were propped open as it was time to read.
Re: Serena + Beyoncé articles
Stay woke. Both writers are using age old tactics to police & surveil black women and their bodies.

Dear white women think-piecing Beyonce & Serena bearing skin as 'Anti Feminist.' Anti Feminist is silencing black womanhood in this America.

Me? I'd love to read fewer thinkpieces from WW feminists about Beyonce & Serena, and more about electoral strategies for 2017, 2018 & 2020.

Still, the fact remains: even in all this criticism, these women are phenomenally badass.
Serena and Beyoncé are so iconic they're known the world over by their 1st names. Bey by 3 letters.
There just are no comparisons, really.

I love that Beyoncé and Serena make y'all so mad. I love that their shine is a smite on your existence. Stay mad, please.
