Supermodel, producer, and media mogul Tyra Banks will host and executive produce a new daily lifestyle talk show beginning in 2015, it was announced today by Disney-ABC.
Tyra will lead a team of lifestyle experts on a wide-range of topics, incorporating Tyra’s social media reach of more than 28 million followers across all platforms, as well as her digitally connected co-hosts, offering a true cross-platform experience. The yet-to-be named nationally syndicated show will broadcast from Los Angeles. It will be produced by Disney-ABC’s Summerdale Productions with Tyra Banks as executive producer, and distributed by Disney-ABC Domestic Television.
Tyra and her team will provide “innovative, informative, and accessible” content for her audience. From fashion and beauty, to home and entertaining, to empowerment and individual enterprise, the show will motivate viewers to improve and enhance their lives by providing guidance.
Tyra will also welcome celebrities, internet influencers, experts and everyday people to share their own knowledge across a wide-range of topics that are important to the daytime audience.

This will be Ms Banks’ second round as a daytime talk show host. Previously, there was The Tyra Show, which ran for five seasons from 2005-2010.
She joins an already crowded talk show space that’s loaded with African American hosts, from the recently-announced The Keke Palmer Project, to The Wendy Williams Show, The Queen Latifah Show, The Steve Harvey Show, new series, The Real (hosted by Tamera Mowry-Housley, Tamar Braxton, Loni Love, Adrienne Bailon, and Jeannie Mai,), Exhale with Angela Burt-Murray, Erin Jackson, Issa Rae, Malinda Williams and Rene Syler all hosting, and one or two more.
