Vic Mensa supports LGBTQ rights on new track 'Free Love'

Chicago native and Def Jam recording artist Vic Mensa has released a new song and statement in support of LGBTQ equality. Mensa dropped “Free Love,” featuring Le1f, Halsey, Lil B and Malik Yusef on his SoundCloud page following the tragic events that took place at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando. The artists call for an end to hate and bigotry throughout the song, emphasizing the importance of acceptance.
Following the release of the track Mensa posted a heartfelt and honest statement about no longer feeling indifferent towards issues that effect the LGBTQ community, after a family member of his came out to him. He urges fans to question their subconscious judgments and to stand in solidarity with the LGBTQ community.
