Here's a longer look at a film I profiled yesterday, from writer & director Vishnu J. Seesahai, titled Candid.
It's described as "The 1-Man-Movie," because it was written, directed, shot, acted, and edited all by one man.
The film's synopsis reads:
A video voyeur stalks women in the city with a digital camera until he crosses paths with a beautiful model who harbors a dark secret … she is a serial killer.
The filmmaker describes Candid as an excursion into the worlds of voyeurism and exhibitionism, as well as an exploration of reality-based entertainment, what he considers a disturbing trend.
Candid will make its world premiere at the Urbanworld Film Festival next month.
