nullAfter he famously refused to impersonate Bill Cosby during "Saturday Night Live‘s" 40th anniversary special back in February, Eddie Murphy apparently had a change of heart over the weekend, while he was accepting the Mark Twain Prize for humor at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.

Before impersonating Cosby, which I suppose is what some in the audience were hoping for, Murphy said, during his acceptance speech, that he wondered whether the committee that selected him for the Twain Prize this year was maybe now regretting its decision to give Cosby the trophy in 2009.

"Bill has one of these," Murphy said, adding, "Did y’all make Bill give his back?… You know you fucked up when they want you to give your trophies back."

Murphy then went into his Cosby imitation, and the audience of course laughed and applauded.
