We all know Taraji P. Henson is a great actress, and her impression of Cardi B is spot on.
In a recent interview, the Empire actress was asked to give her best Cardi B impression and she did not disappoint, reports Buzzfeed. Watch her impression in the video above, which starts around the 4:30 mark.
“Hahahahaha gimme that schmoney, hahahaha, okurrrr?” Henson yelled with her tongue out in classic Cardi B fashion.
Henson has been a fan of the Bodak Yellow rapper “since she had 70,000 followers,” as the interviewer pointed out.
Henson gave Cardi a shout-out in a June 2017 Instagram comment.
“SHINE BABY SHINE!!!! Was following you when you had about 70K followers. It was your personality and your realness that made me hit that follow joint,” wrote Henson. “LOOK AT YOU NOW!!! Proud of you!!! Keep puttin in that WERK you WILL collect your [awards]. And I am here for it!!! Your hustle game strong AF!!! Stay humble and keep your circle strong and TIGHT! AND GOD IS PERIOD DON’T EVER FORGET THAT!!!”
Cardi later posted a screenshot of the comment and she was clearly shook.
“Shiieeettt this means sooo much yoooo :')On some emotional shit .Thank you soooo much @tarajiphenson This gone make me go harder and harder,” she wrote. “I can't wait till one day to meet you !!!naa Yall I'm wild hype and gassed.”
Cardi is gonna be LIT when she sees the impression.
