Trailer for an upcoming short film titled Noon, which I'm told by the filmmaker (Kasra Farahani) that it's actually a scene from a completed feature script.

A path that many filmmakers take – shoot a scene/sequence from your feature script to assist in raising funds or awareness for the feature film that's to come!

Here's how Kasra describes Noon:

Set on a future Earth where the Sun no longer moves through the sky, the short sets up the world’s unique premise and introduces our protagonist, Gray, a coyote numbed to the cruelty of the world and his part in it. In a massive, militarized immigration checkpoint into the bitter world of Noon, profit is pitted against morality as Gray struggles to reconcile his greed with his grudging impulse to protect an innocent girl.

The short will be released in January, Kasra says.
