Still riding the wave of success from his latest album, DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS, Bad Bunny boasts a laundry list of hits. He's managed to stay hot musically and otherwise.
The Latin music star from Puerto Rico (PR) is at the center of the newest Calvin Klein ad. The momentum is perfect, as in July, he'll begin to restore PR through music.
It's been said that a Calvin Klein ad, for actors and singers, has the power to catapult them into stardom and potentially seal their place in entertainment history.
Featured on Bad Bunny's DTMF album, "EoO" is the track to which Bad Bunny can be seen posing and showcasing his tatted body in Calvin Klein underwear.
His latest album (which features the infectious song) is Bad Bunny's fourth to chart at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. It's also his sixth Spanish language album.
From the visuals to the lyrics of DTMF, Bad Bunny sheds light on the plight of those living on the island regarding infrastructure, the impact of storms and gentrification.
Titled "No Me Quiero Ir De Aqui", Bad Bunny's 30-show residency/tour is set in Puerto Rico this summer between July 11 and Sept. 14.
The first nine of the 30 shows set to occur in PR are for Puerto Rican residents only. The tour sold 400,000 tickets within the first four hours of being on sale.
PR continues to endure the impact of Tropical Storm Ernesto and Hurricane Maria. And the impact of damaged infrastructure has only been amplified by gentrification.
Bad Bunny has made PR his priority with proceeds from the show going to the island. "NMQIDA" ("I don't want to leave here") has become his oath, both in PR and stardom.
