A Minecraft Movie has already exceeded box office expectations and spawned a cult following from its audiences of young viewers and adult fans of Minecraft.
The film stars Jack Black as beloved signature character Steve, as well as Jason Momoa as the cocky main character Garrett Garrison. Emma Myers, Danielle Brooks, Jennifer Coolidge and more also appear.
A Minecraft Movie chronicles the journey of a group of four misfits that travel through a mysterious portal to the block-filled Overworld where they must complete a quest with the help of Steve to get home.
One of the main aspects of the movie that is driving audiences to theaters is its hilariously delivered lines that only huge fans of Minecraft truly understand.
