To be introduced by DJ Wiz, and directors Hasan Pore and Ron Lawrence, a screening of Founding Fathers is scheduled for later this month – a 2009 documentary that “expands the scope” of the commonly accepted origins of hip-hop culture, by “looking at influential artists from Queens and Brooklyn, including the Disco Twins, Dance Master, and Grand Master Flowers

Taking place on Friday, July 22, beginning at 7PM, at the Museum of the Moving Image, here in New York City, the screening will be followed by a Q&A featuring Fab Five Freddy, The Disco Twins, DJ Vernon of King Charles, M. Marton Hall, concert promoter, and DJ Divine of Infinity Machine. The panel will be moderated by the aforementioned DJ Wiz.
