As previously noted, Shadow & Act is this year's PAFF Institute media sponsor/presenter, which is taking place concurrently with the Pan African Film Festival in LA this weekend, and tomorrow, today, Monday.
So those of you out there should take advantage on this last day of the PAFF Institute panels and workshops, if you're available.
We've been live-tweeting most of the panels thus far, and plan to continue doing that today.
Here's what today's impressive panel lineup includes, with highlights being a conversation with Devon Franklin and Meagan Good at 5pm (which I would've moderated if I were in LA, but thanks to the east coast blizzard, I was stuck in NYC), and the closing night address with Reginald Hudlin on "The State of Black Entertainment," which will be moderated by our own Jasmin Tiggett.
Also, look out for an exclusive interview with Hudlin from Masha Dowell as well:

By the way, the PAFF Institute is all coordinated by Sherri James. This year's theme is "The Business of Entertainment" and the entire lineup of panels (yesterday's, today's, and tomorrow's) can be found within the image at the bottom of this post.
For those of you who are or will be attending the festival, or who will be in the LA area this weekend (whether you plan to attend the festival or not), I highlighted 10 films for you to add to your to-see list (if you missed that post, read it HERE).
And, of course, to accompany your film viewing, be sure to take a look at one or more of the PAFF Institute's strong, eclectic panels offerings, and add one or two of them to your festival itinerary.
Each panel is just $10.50, and takes place at Rave Cinema at Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza, 4020 Marlton Avenue, LA, CA 90008.
All panels will be held inside the Rave Theaters unless otherwise noted.
