Anyone who’s a regular reader of Shadow And Act knows how we feel about Mahamet-Saleh Haroun’s magnificent film A Screaming Man (Un Homme qui crie).

We’ve written about it enough times already, praising it deservedly to the skies. However, not surprisingly, it’s gotten so far a very limited release in the U.S., mostly relegated to film festivals and a few major cities.

However, soon you will have your chance to see it, now that it’s been announced that the specialty DVD label Film Movement will release the film on DVD this summer, on Aug. 2. You can already pre-order it on Amazon.

No word as to special features or extras, but once more information becomes available, we’ll be sure to let you know.
