Alano Miller
has booked a starring role in the Fox drama pilot titled The Wild Blue, from Justified executive producer Taylor Elmore – which centers on the working men and women on board a U.S. aircraft carrier, equipped with a 500-foot landing strip, a nuclear reactor and 6,000 people on board.

Miller, who joins Will Rothhaar and Josh Salatin in the ensemble cast, will play Joaquin Tate, described as a recently promoted NCO (non-commissioned officer) whose position as someone in charge, but with little power and control in comparison to the officers on board, only adds to the chip already on his shoulder. And being superior in rank to his best friend, only leads to further tension between the two over time.

The Wild Blue is executive produced by Graham Yost, Mark Johnson, and Michael Dinner.

Alano Miller has appeared in serials like Damages, and, most recently, on CBS’ freshman drama series, Golden Boy.
