In observance of the Rwandan Genocide of 1994, Alrick Brown's Sundance Award-winning drama Kinyarwanda will screen intensively throughout the country during a 100-day commemoration in April and May.
Dubbed the 100 Days Tour, the screening events bring together the American filmmakers and Rwandan colleagues, who give firsthand accounts of the Genocide itself as well as the making of the film, with the aim of keeping the dialogue in the public consciousness.
Also included are a few screening engagements outside the U.S., including Poland, Jamaica, and Saturna Island, BC.
The tour kicked off earlier this month with a Genocide Commemoration at the United Nations on April 11 in New York. Remaining tour dates are listed below.
