(Atlanta) – Filmmakers interested in seeking consideration for inclusion in the 2012 BronzeLens Film Festival Film must submit by the deadline of July 31, 2012.
All fees and DVD copies must be postmarked no later than deadline date to be considered.

2012 BronzeLens Film Festival submissions categories include Narrative Fiction, Shorts, Documentaries and Music Videos. Prestigious top honors will be given in each category and one filmmaker will again receive the Panavision $50,000 Camera Equipment Prize.

Official submission fees: $50-Standard fee for all categories | $35-Student | $40-Georgia production
Late submission fees: $60-Standard fee for all categories | $45-Student | $50-Georgia production
Since its inception the BronzeLens Film Festival has evolved as one of the most comprehensive film festivals for filmmakers of color in the United States. Filmmakers representing the United States, Africa, Canada, the Caribbean and Europe comprised the thirty eight films screened at second annual BronzeLens Film Festival (BronzeLens) in November, 2011. Six films received top honors which included Best Feature and Best Overall Film that went to ‘The Shanghai Hotel’, directed by Jerry Davis of Atlanta, Georgia. Director Jerry Davis also won the Panavision $50,000 gear package which is granted to the Best Overall filmmaker. Other top honors included Best Documentary and the Audience Award: ‘Start of Dreams’, Directed by The Horne Brothers of Atlanta, Georgia; Best International Film: ‘KINYARWANDA’, directed by Alrick Brown of Rwanda/USA; Best Ensemble: ‘We the Party’, directed by Mario Van Peebles of Los Angeles, CA; Best Short Feature: ‘Take Too Long’, directed by Kwesi Davis of Valley Village, California; and Best Music Video: ‘It’s Me’, directed by Carmen Rodgers of Atlanta, Georgia.
The dates for the 2012 Bronzelens Film Festival are November 8-11, 2012.
