The upcoming episode of Killer Relationship with Faith Jenkins takes on the case of a husband who goes missing after his wife disappears.

The episode, “Shattered Dream,” focuses on Virginian woman Lisa Gaudenzi, whose grisly murder occurred in 1995. According to the logline:

An aspiring military officer disappears suspiciously from her Virginia home, and two years later her husband vanishes when he comes under suspicion. A trail of lies and false identities is uncovered that reveals the truth about a diabolical murderer.

NBC 12 reported on the story in 2010. As the outlet wrote, her husband Lawrence admitted to the murder in 2009, saying he accidentally killed his wife, then put her body in a sleeping bag, covered her in acid in a drum, and buried her in a rural area of the state. Her body was never found until Lawrence led police to where he buried the drum. Currently, Lawrence is serving 25 years for second degree murder.
