Michael B. Jordan puts his boxing gloves back on in the first official photos for Creed II, the follow-up to the critically acclaimed Ryan Coogler-directed film and Rocky spinoff. In the assortment of photos, Adonis Creed (Jordan) is shown training with his mentor and cohort, Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone).
In another first look photo, the Philly bred boxer is depicted in a red hoodie and signature American flag boxing shorts. Creed stars Michael B, Jordan, Sylvester Stallone, Tessa Thompson, Phylicia Rashad and Dolph Lundgren reprising his role as Ivan Drago.
As far as the plot is concerned, Creed II will see Adonis go toe-to-toe in the boxing ring with the son of Ivan Drago, the man who killed his father in a boxing match at the beginning of Rocky IV. The film is directed by Steven Caple Jr. and executive produced by Ryan Coogler, Guy Riedel and Michael B. Jordan. It will be released on November 21, 2018.
