In HBO’s first Super Bowl ad in 20 years, the first teaser for Season 2 of  Westworld was released and the premiere date was unveiled.

The series will return April 22 on HBO.

A trailer also premiered at Comic-Con in July.

Jeffrey Wright and Thandie Newton return as series regulars, and breakout Get Out actress Betty Gabriel has joined the cast for this season. Newton and Wright were nominated for Emmy awards for the first season.

Produced by J.J. Abrams and inspired by Michael Crichton’s 1973 film of the same name, HBO once described its critically-acclaimed adaptation as “a dark tale about the dawn of artificial consciousness and the future of sin.”
