After co-starring together in The Help, Octavia Spencer and Jessica Chastian will be on screen together once again.

In what Variety calls a “heated bidding war,” Universal won the rights to the pitch for an untitled holiday comedy which revolves around ” two women fighting the elements to make it home by Christmas.” Universal beat out both Fox and Paramount for the film.

Chastian co-wrote the treatment and will co-produce with her Freckle Films production company.

Spencer and Chastain both received Oscar nominations for The Help, and have netted two more since — Spencer for Hidden Figures and Chastain for Zero Dark Thirty. Spencer has been nominated for most major awards in the Supporting Actress Category for her work in The Shape of Water.
