Shark Tank star Barbara Corcoran has apologized for sizeist comments made during her visit to The View.
During the episode in which Corcoran was discussing the first Black female guest Shark and Good American CEO Emma Grede, Corcoran commented on Goldberg‘s jean size in a joke. BET reports that during the conversation, Sunny Hostin talked about how much she loves Good American jeans, leading Goldberg to say jokingly, “Well, I have to try them. Will they fit this COVID [butt]?” Corcoran replied, “When you get finished with those jeans and decide you don’t like them, give them to me. I’m gonna make two pairs.”
In the clip posted to Twitter, the audience audibly changes its tone after Corcoran’s joke makes them uncomfortable. The View cohost defends Goldberg by making fun of Corcoran’s dress, saying, “Whoopi, just let me tell you something. Both Sara Haines and Jill Biden wore that dress already on TV.”

After Twitter lambasted Corcoran over her remark, she issued a video apology to Twitter.
“I just came back from The View and saw my old friend Whoopi. She has a phenomenal sense of humor, and I’ve known Whoopi for years. I made a joke at Whoopi’s expense, which I now realize wasn’t funny. For anyone who I may have offended unintentionally, I just wanted to say I really am very sorry.”
