
Taraji P. Henson returns this holiday season to spread cheer, goodwill and some holiday magic in the second annual music and variety special “Taraji’s White Hot Holidays,” airing Thursday, Dec. 8 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT), on FOX.
Last year, she hosted a holiday special with “Empire” co-star Terrence Howard. She’s going solo this year.
Announced today, Smokey Robinson, NE-YO, Tyrese Gibson, Andra Day, Candice Boyd and October London will join the previously-booked Jussie Smollett, TayeDiggs, Pharrell Williams, Missy Elliott, Alicia Keys, Darryl McDaniels of Run-DMC, Snoop Dogg and TLC, who will take part in renditions of classic holiday songs during the one-hour special.
The event also will feature cameo appearances by Tyler Perry and Terry Crews, among other surprise guests and performances.
The star-studded “Taraji’s White Hot Holidays” is produced by Casey Patterson Entertainment, Taraji P. Henson, Jane Mun, Greg Sills and Vincent Cirrincione.
It premieres next week Thursday, Dec. 8 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT), on FOX.
Also this season, catch Henson starring in the feature film “Hidden Figures,” alongside Octavia Spencer and Janelle Monae, which will be out over the Christmas holiday, for an Oscar-qualifying run as Henson and her co-stars make a bid for Oscar.
