George Lucas says he apparently has 50 hours worth shot of the Star Wars live-action TV series previously announced, but he’s waiting for “a different type of technology we can use so it’s economically feasible to shoot the shows.,” he told G4TV in an interview last week.

Boooooh! Enough already George! Leave Stars Wars alone, please; how about, you know, creating something fresh. Or better yet, finally finish up that Tuskegee Airmen Red Tails film you’ve been working on forever. Seriously, you’ve already milked the cow, now you’re milking the milk! Stop it!

Is this what happens when you’ve made more money than you can spend? You become creatively stifled? We know he plans to re-release all the Star Wars films in 3D. And there’s already the animated TV show, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, which will be returning to Cartoon Network for its 4th season this fall.

And now we can add this live action TV series he’s working on.

Really, any of you out there actually interested in seeing more Star Wars interpretations.
