The Central Park Five opens in Los Angeles this Friday, November 30, exclusively at the Landmark’s Nuart Theatre.

The film examines the 1989 New York-based case of five black and Latino teenagers who were convicted of raping a white woman in Central Park. After spending between 6 to 13 years in prison, a serial rapist confessed to the crime.

The film already opened in New York, and will now head to Los Angeles, with further runs expected to come to San Francisco, Seattle, Boston, Chicago and other cities, throughout the rest of the year.

And by the way, director David McMahon, as well as 2 of the Central Park Five, Raymond Santana and Kevin Richardsonwill be present for Q&A following these showtimes:

Friday November 30 – 5:20 PM, 8:00 PM

Saturday December 01 – 5:20 PM, 8:00 PM

Nuart is at 11272 Santa Monica Boulevard (just west of the 405 Freeway), West Los Angeles.

See it! We strongly recommend it!

And for the rest of the country, stay tuned… it just might be coming to a theater near you sometime in the next few months.
