We totally missed this. Thanks to Liam for pointing it out in my last post on the film earlier today.

Announced just a couple of days ago, Keith David joined the cast of the $100 million Cloud Atlas adaptation that’s being helmed by the Wachowskis and Tom Tykwer, although no word on what his involvement in the film is.

In my last entry, I posted several new pics from the film, and he was in a couple of them, but I just didn’t immediately recognize him; likely because, first, I didn’t know he had joined the cast (so I wasn’t looking for him), and secondly, in the photos, his back is to the camera.

But he’s in the film for sure. The announcement of his joining the cast was within a larger piece headlined by Hugh Grant’s signing on to co-star in the film as well.

Here are a couple of the pictures again from the last post, with Keith, Halle Berry, and Hugo Weaving. So, I guess from these photos, we can surmise that those 3 actors have at least 1 scene together in the film 🙂
