It’s worth noting that the Rudolph special will air a few days after the conclusion of the Rosemary’s Baby miniseries that stars Zoe Saldana, next week, also on NBC.

It’s currently unclear whether The Maya Rudolph Show will become a permanent series for the network, or just a single one-night special. It could also be acting as a test-run, and if a success, NBC just might upgrade it to a weekly franchise. So tune in on the 19th and make it a hit (assuming you enjoy it).
