Mike Tyson's recent one-man show on Broadway, Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth, which was directed by Spike Lee, will begin a 10-week nationwide tour starting in early 2013.

The tour will start in Indianapolis on February 12 before moving on to Chicago, where it will play for three nights only, February 15-17, at the Cadillac Place Theater, before moving on to other cities which will be announced soon..

The show, which originally started as a one-man show at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, was written by Tyson's wife Kiki.

When they announced the plans today for the tour, Tyson said that he didn't want his wife to soft-pedal anything when she wrote the play: "In the beginning, she painted me too soft. I told her ‘this is not me. This is not the man you fell in love with. Just like we have to be honest with one another to make a great relationship, we have to be honest with the audience to make a great story. They already know the story. You can’t fool them."

Kiki agreed adding that: "Originally I didn’t put the Robin Givens story in. My natural inclination was to protect him. But he said that if this is truly going to be ‘Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth,’ we have to talk about Robin. He was right."

And when asked when preparing for a fight or a ten-week tour, which one was tougher, Mike responded that: “It takes the same preparation and mental focus. The only thing is, after the tour I won’t go to the hospital.”
