Aaron Woolfolk’s The Harimaya Bridge, considered the first feature film made by an African American filmmaker in Japan, has been released this week on DVD and Blu-ray Disc.
The film — starring Ben Guillory, Saki Takaoka, Misa Shimizu, and Danny Glover — is about an American man who must go to rural Japan after the sudden death of his estranged son there, and the secrets he discovers his son left behind.
We’ve covered The Harimaya Bridge as it received a limited release in U.S. theaters, toured the film festival circuit, and reached Video on Demand in August.
Now, if you’re ready to make it your own, you can do so HERE.
